What is the best fit for the operation of shoe?

I know that the best running shoe "depends on your own biomechanics foot, but I wanted to get feedback on exactly what determines a good "fit." I have mild pronation and arch and structure low .. How much room should be on the bed stand? Heel? Any other details? I'm running my first half marathon in August and start training next week. I want to make sure I have the right shoe for marathon training and real. Any advice? Thanks!

The best running shoe I've found Asics is the brand, and I've gone through all of them. They have a series of gel that covers the entire spectrum of pronation, so I suggest you find a reliable dealer and sit with an employee sales, which will guide you right shoe. They can be a bit more expensive, but believe me when I say it's worth the money. In terms of training and race, I would like much suggest getting two pairs of these shoes in the lead. You could be planning this already, but certainly not if I think. If you train as much as you if be glad you did. You can break into the side to side (alternating), so that once the time is approaching the race is very well broke two pairs of shoes as opposed to a partner who may be a little more worn (And you need a new pair of race that is not warmed up properly.) That does not mean that no Asics are very durable and reliable, just something practical as a personal preference that has been good for me in the past. Good luck!
